02.08.2012 – Monduran Fishing Update

This coming summer will be a good year, but we may not bag metre barra every trip. However the barra we got last summer will have grown a lot due to the mild winter we have had and the amount of bait fish in the water they are still feeding without needing to swim very far.

We had a great time early in the year catching a lot of barra. People that don’t really fish where blown away by the seeing barra on my LOWRANCE HDS 10INCH sounder.

Dont forget that the Monduran Family Fishing Classic is coming up fast so get in early to book your camp spot and get your entry forms in.

Jamie Bein from Lake Monduran Barra Charters has been on the water nearly every morning early, approximately 4am and the water temperature has been around the 17 degrees, which would be the lowest and it gets up to 20.6 degrees by 2pm which means it takes along time to drop. Till next week tight lines all.
