26.9.2011 – Monduran Fishing Update

There have been a large number of barra in the shallows. Their sizes range from 50cm up to approximately 110cm. There have been reports of many touches but unfortunately no hook ups. The water temperature was as high as 26 degrees on Sunday and 25.4 degrees today. The wind had moved from the north to the south east and wind gusts were about 20 knotts.

The hotter days are helping, but please remember that the body of water that now has to be heated is very large and much deeper so it will take longer this year than other years to heat up.
